No matter what you’re planning, you can look like a million dollars. Even if you’re destination is not called Aspen or St. Moritz, looking good will do no harm and we know what are the key pieces to put into your suitcase.
A perfect puff jacket
A good puff jacket is irreplaceable. It makes you feel cosy, it protects you no matter the weather conditions, it can be stylish as hell. Still, there are some key rules to follow. First of all, go for monochrome tones. You can pick your favourite colour but remember that a puff jacket needs to be versatile and go with the majority of pieces in your wardrobe. Secondly, think about the silhouette. If you’re planning extreme winter excursions, pick a longer shape. If you’re not so keen to conquer the slopes, go for a shorter or a cropped model that will look particularly good with a pair of warm leggings and big boots.
A cosy knit
What happens once you take your jacket off? It’s time for the knit. This snowy winter had made us fall in love with cream ribbed knits and super cosy turtlenecks. Again, thick practically. A monochrome sweater will be match more of your outfits which is important when traveling with a luggage limit. Invest in a wool or cashmere piece – the natural fibres that allow thermoregulation.
A piece that will stay close to your skin
We think a pair of leggings and a bodysuit. These basics never let you down and help your body retain the warmth. On top of that, they just look super effortless. Wear them with cool winter boots and some subtle jewellery for an unassuming yet beautiful effect. In case you need to change your look for something more elegant, swap the leggings for a pair of suit pants and vois là – you’re good to go!
An edgy accessory
Let it be a colourful hat, a thick winter scarf, a pair of retro sunnies. You probably need all of them and trust us, they’re worth the investment. As we’re devoted fans of these small elements that can redefine the most basic outfit, we’ll encourage you to try some colour! Red, navy blue, pastel pink. We let you decide!
